Brackets Linking and Stability

Our desk mounted brackets arrive attached to the face of your screens, ready for installing. You do this by simply offering the screen to the desk top and hand tightening the handwheel provided.

The desk mounted screen is designed to drop below (vertically) your desk top by approx. 50mm (2 inches) and if or when two desks are pushed together, this 50mm is sandwiched between the two tops. This fixing method aides stability of your screen.

As the brackets are pre fitted to your screens your shaped top screens are "handed". You will need to select left (L) or right (R) coded screens. Please refer to the product page, all will be revealed. Rectangular screens from this range are able to be fitted both left or right handed so do not need to be selected in this manner (no L or R code required).

Our standard desk mounted brackets are designed to fit desk tops up to 33mm thick. To enable the handwheel mechanism to be tightened, to secure your screen, you will need an unobstructed overhang of 40mm.
If your top is thicker than 33mm or you do not have sufficient overhang, or there is an obstruction (modesty panel, leg or support frame etc) please contact us so we can provide the correct brackets. We can supply a suitable bracket for most situations. We always do our best to get it right 1st time.

Your screen will arrive with a "dumbell" shaped linking strip - ideal for a straight join between 2 screens - and a 4 way ( X shaped ) link strip that will join up to 4 screens - straight, 90 degree, 3 way or 4 way link. Linking your screens together also aids stability.
